Holiday Nibblers

2 1/2 Cups water

1/2 Can canned pumpkin

1/8 Tsp vanilla

1 Egg

4 Cups whole wheat flour

1/4 Cups chopped pecans

1 Tablespoon baking powder

1/4 Teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 Teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 Cup oats

Preheat oven to 350º

In a bowl mix water, pumkin, vanilla, and egg throughly.

In another bowl combine flour, pecans, baking pwoder, nutmeg, and

cinnamon. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well, making sure no dry mixture is left. Spoon into greased muffin pan and fill each cup completely. Sprinkle the top with oats and bake for 1 hour. Cool completely and store in a sealed container.

Seasonal Buffet Squares

1 Lb ground turkey

1/4 Cup cold water

1 beaten egg

1 Cup cornmeal

1 Tablespoon chopped parsley

1/3 Cup shredded parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 375º

In a skillet brown the turkey and drain well. Mix cold water, egg, cornmeal, and parsley together in a bowl and then add to the skillet with the turkey. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cover and continue cooking over low heat for 10 minutes. Pour into an 8 X 8 pan, sprinkle the top with the cheese and bake for 40 minutes. Cool and cut into 9 squares and then serve. Store well wrapped in the refrigerator.
